I recently had the pleasure of dining at Traviso in Playa del Ingrid, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was truly charming, and I could feel the passion and inspiration behind each dish. Every plate was beautifully presented, and the flavors were excellent — clearly crafted with care and creativity.
That said, I believe there are a few areas of service that could be improved to make the experience even better: When we arrived, there seemed to be some confusion with seating. Although there was staff available, the chef was called out from the kitchen to receive us, which felt a little unusual. During the ordering process, I noticed a difference in attentiveness. While my friend was engaged with eye contact and conversation, I felt somewhat overlooked, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Lastly, it would have been nice if the staff had followed up on drinks. My glass was empty after the starter, and no one came to check or offer another drink until we asked for the bill.

I went here a few days ago, and it was beyond expectations. The waiting staff is well trained, they asked for allergies, they announce plates as they come, and they know how to recommend a wine.
I had the lemongrass scallops as a starter with a glass of albarino, the dish was fresh, citrusy, with an enjoyable onctuosity. Most importantly, the scallops where perfectly cooked ! The chef and his kitchen staff did a great job. By the way, the chef went around tables to ask is ecerything was fine, he seems approachable and to really care about the food and the customers.
For the main, I took the duck, cabbage, and roasted potatoes purée. The balance in the plate was on point, and portions were generous. The waiter paired my dish with a red wine, crianza, and it was once again, on point. In terms of structure and flavours, both complimented each other.
Finally for dessert, I had the banana crème brulée with a sweet malvasia from Lanzarote, which i'm glad i've discovered. My partner got the pear with a port fino, a really good combo.
Overall, the kitchen and waiting staff are passionate professionals who really care about what...
Read moreWow.. I turned up here after I landed on my 4 day trip. I was blown away. I was feeling horrible after the travel.. but this place started my holiday with a bang! Honestly, it's the best garlic prawn starter and steak I've ever had... it was so good I decided to eat there again on my last night... and.. because i wasted trying somewhere new... I let them decide what I ate.. this was my best decision ever... amazing.. I ate early (6.30pm) and it was relatively quiet.. and ended up talking to the chef and crew( you can see and hear them as they are in the same room.... it turns out they have just moved here from a fancy restaurant in central London.. the whole crew moved their lives to be with this chef.... and I can see why.. Do not miss your chance to try this.. they have just opened, and I've no doubt it will be packed as soon as people find out about...
