Disappointing Experience and Shocking Customer Service

We visited [Pub Name] today and had an overall disappointing experience. After ordering a dessert, we found it to be of poor quality—it just didn’t taste right. Three of us at the table tried it, and none of us liked it, so we politely sent it back without specifically requesting a refund or removal from the bill.

However, what happened next was truly shocking. A staff member approached our table and began shouting at us, insisting that she was eating the dessert herself and that there was nothing wrong with it. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she continued to challenge us aggressively, making the whole experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. In the end, I had to ask her to leave our table and suggested she reflect on her customer service skills.

We were taken aback by this unprofessional behavior. Mistakes or differences in taste happen, but the way a business responds to customer feedback is crucial. Unfortunately, this interaction left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. We will not be returning and certainly wouldn’t recommend this...

First popped in here for here for a cheaper night out. Thought that I had walked into a bar in Dublin, such was the layout. Saw that they had multiple TV screens so revisited several times during our six week stay to watch various rugby and football matches. The staff here work incredibly hard to ensure that everyone gets served drinks and food as quickly as possible. No booking. It is an extremely popular place which gives it a great atmosphere, especially when Ireland are playing! Entertainment on stage later. We had such a brilliant time at Grandee O'Donnells during our stay in Tenerife. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with great food, cold drinks, and top-class entertainment — exactly what you want on holiday!

A special shout-out to Garry and Michelle, who made our visit extra special. Both were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Their energy and smiles really stood out — they’re a credit to the place!
