kiss cafe — Restaurant in San Pedro del Pinatar

Went to have a nice lunch there. When it came time to pay, we were going to use a debit card. The waiter asked for my husband's passport. Ok. He ran across the street to get it. When he got back, he said No, he wanted his PIN! He had taken the debit card inside and wanted us to give him the PIN! My husband refused and the waiter and manager got very angry. He offered to put it in for them, but they wanted access to the number. We paid in cash, and the manager wanted my husband to apologize to the server for not trusting him with our access code!

For the record, this is the first and only time we have ever had a server in Spain take our debit card from the table. They ALWAYS bring the card reader to you so there is no question about what is going on...

What a lovely little find. Was on the Beach & came across the road 2 this very chilled out cafe. Ordered 1coffee 1shandy 4 starters. Then stayed 4 lunch. 1burger 1wrap & some lovely chips. All was freshly made. Chips were chunky & cooked 2 perfection, crispy on outside & soft in the middle. Burgers homemade and looked gr8. Food was very nice. Partner wants 2 come back just 4 another burger lol. Service was excellent, food excellent & coffee 2. A very good place 2 stop off 4 drinks & snacks. Called in for lunch after a mornings 'Mudding' ... Very satisfied with food and friendly service. We had fish dishes (Emperador and the Salmon) with plancha'd vegetables as an alternative to salad. All perfectly cooked and presented and prepared 'from scratch' . Simple 'decor' ! ~ so probably not where you'd go for a 'Special' meal, but it absolutely suited our requirements !!
