This is a classic breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant in Torreguadiaro. It has been in the same location for a long time. It is easily accessible by foot from Playa de Torreguadiaro or by car. There is parking in front of the restaurant or, if that is full, at the public parking which is very close by. The restaurant is medium sized so if you want to be sure to have a table on a weekend for lunch or dinner, or during weekdays for dinner, you should make a reservation. We have been to Rio Seco many times over the last many years for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional, and the service is very fast. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must for breakfast. The breakfast options are many, and in traditional Spanish style. The coffee is excellent. The lunch menu is extensive, and of excellent quality. We particularly enjoy the many different salad options. The dinner menu is extensive as well, featuring fish and meat, excellently prepared. The drinks and wine menu is very good as well. Prices are quite reasonable for such high quality food and service. We can highly recommend Rio Seco and will come back again. Ideal para esos mediodias laborables entre semana, discretas reuniones de trabajo o pequeños encuentros con un par de amigos. Es un restaurante cómodo, correcto y práctico, con el parquing justo delante. Fummetsvan os recomienda el atún, que tuvieron el detalle de servirlo a dos tiempos de cocción diferentes para compartir, y también el acompañamiento, muy olvidado para muchos cocineros y que aquí han sabido complementsr con unas sencillas verduras y patatas doraditas en su punto. Nosotros no volveríamos a pedir las almejas, que por 16€ estaban más cerca del estilo tomate solís que de la salsa marinera tradicional. Sobre la ensalada mixta siempre és un buen recurso saludable para compartir y recordad que el pan -como casi todo el mundo en Andalucía- se sirve sin preguntar. Un consejo: ahorrad un poquito antes de venir.

A really nice place to eat lunch with a glass veranda looking out to the sea. The staff were very helpful and the salmon meatballs and cuttlefish croquettes are worth travelling for. Good sized dishes at very reasonable prices. We will be back soon.

Nice place over looking the beach near soto grande. Would have had 5 stars but the milaniase chicken was a bit heavy. But the staff were attentive. Spotted my terrible Spanish and helped when I was failing. Then took some of the food we could not manage away. Has a lovely feel, good view over the sea and an indoors for when the weather is too hot. Was very clean and pleasant...
