Their prime time is gone. If they ever had one. Idle, smoking servers, dirty terrace on the floor and no one minding it, 3 waiters contacted until menu came. A glass of Rioja, from an old open bottle, and when I ask for the second, a Merlot, it is poured on the remaining Rioja. I guess waitress in a hurry to go to her 3rd cigarette break.
Just in case: a change of wine requires a change of glass, dear waitress, and NEVER pouring a wine over the remaining of a different one. The very fact that you ignore these two utter facts means your training and practice here were well below basic standards. And, by consequence, your whole service is doubtful. Let’s start somewhere: stop smoking in front of clients.
Bread old hard reheated. Medium rear cooking of an eye rib is doubtful to say the least. I expected 4 star service and quality. Don’t ever ask for a macchiato, they will bring a latte, with your dessert. And not a single drop of water, never.
A true Manager needs to work here. Not for a week. For a month. And checking every service, every meal, and every staff. A true Manager knows to NEVER pour a different wine in a glass still containing a previous, bad, one.
In the end, I know this restaurant does not cater to clients like me. The question is: whom does this restaurant cater to? They will not know.
Tips, usually generous, are...

Rating: ⭐
A planned dinner at Pasiones Argentinas to sample Argentine cuisine with colleagues and visitors from the US turned frustrating due to the restaurant's inflexible policies. Despite choosing a variety of starters and main courses suitable for our group of four adults and one child, we were required to order more food to include the parrillada we were looking forward to. This unexpected policy not only dampened our enthusiasm for the meal but also negatively impacted our international guests' experience. The insistence on an excessive minimum order, even when we had already ordered significantly, has led us to reconsider future visits and to recommend other options in the area. Thank you for responding to the feedback. I was simply expecting an apology, but since that's not the case, the mistake by the staff in not mentioning that you could repeat orders as many times as you want at "Brasero Diente Libre" is even worse. That was the reason. We truly were unaware of this, and when the customer is not properly informed, these issues occur. It was just a straightforward barbecue, period. The approach and manners need to be refined. We hope the restaurant will reconsider its approach to flexibility and customer service to enhance the...
Read moreWe went to the Knife with my daughter and son in law to celebrate my wife's birthday. At two in the afternoon on a Tuesday it was almost empty. Our server was efficient but not overly friendly. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh, although the Waldorf salad was not the same as it had been before and was disappointing. One thing I would recommend about the meat choices is to familiarize yourself with the menu online, that way you can make choices in line with what you really want. Make sure as well that you specify how you want your meat cooked so you don't end up with a piece of meat that has been sitting on the grill too long. We also took advantage of the offer of one person eating free if they come with three other adults. Fortunately my daughter saw it on a sign coming in. It's not mentioned on the website nor did the server...
