ADAMO BEACH — Restaurant in San Sebastián

This was our first time to ADAMO BEACH and we loved it. They have one of the best tortillas we've found in the Basque Country. They also have a nice selection of cured meats - we tried a plate of the chorizo ("txorizoa" in Basque.)

Additionally, the staff was very friendly and made us feel at home even though this is clearly a locals' spot and we were clearly visitors. (I don't say "tourist" because we've been to DSS nearly a dozen times, know our way around, have friends there, and study and appreciate the culture, so it feels like our second home. Can confirm this is the best tortilla in San Sebastian - better even than the famed Nestor's which is a right royal pain to get and will involve hours of your time.

The venue is so-so - you'll have a view of parked cars, and the service is ok (when we went in the afternoon they only had tortilla and jamon), but the tortilla was amazing. I wish I had time to come back and eat one more.
