Bardulia Donostia — Restaurant in San Sebastián

This was the first pintxo bar I've been to and I didn't leave it disappointed. I had two simple pintxos, both of them were good, but the one with fried bacalao was fenomenal. It had such a soft texture making it just melt in the mouth. The prices are average and the dishes are not pricey at all. The one main big downside was the service. In Fermin Calbeton Street in the old town, there are many restaurants and pintxos/tapas bars. We chose "Bardulia" bar at random, and we weren't disappointed. The bar was full of people—a good sign. The staff doesn’t speak much English, but one waiter does, and he was very friendly and helpful to everyone. We enjoyed very tasty tapas and good wine. I don't like leaving bad reviews unless it's for something really bad. My family had lunch here 2 days ago. We chose pintxos from the bar to share. We didn't eat anywhere else that lunchtime. Within hours my family and me were all violently vomiting and had upset stomachs. Its now 36 hours later and my wife is still poorly.
