Came here with my husband so we could try the steak. We tried to come last year but it was full, so we were happy to get a reservation this time. We ordered a bottle of red wine which was great. Then we got the tomato salad, green peppers, and mushrooms, as well as the steak. Everything tasted good. For dessert we had the cheesecake with was also very tasty and nice. For the bill, the owner came with the machine, and I proceeded to pay, and the first option asked if i wanted to pay in Euro or Canadian, and I just clicked Canadian not knowing there would be a difference, and entered my pin. The owner took the machine, got very upset and asked why I clicked to pay in my local currency. Not thinking anything of it I simply said the machine asked for I just clicked it? He got extremely upset saying he would get charged commission. I obviously apologised as I didn’t know. Mind you, I would have been happy to pay in Euros if he pointed out he would get commission, but I was unaware. After the interaction, not a single thank you, and he proceeded to go into the kitchen and yell profanities and talk about the commission, which i’m SURE isn’t more than let’s say 5%. I felt extremely uncomfortable and belittled as he did this in front of everyone. If he had just been transparent I would have 100% paid in however way was best for him. Although the food was great, it honestly soured the experience for us, and we simply left feeling guilty for an honest mistake.
I walked in with no reservation and sat on a table outside the restaurant with a friend. We waited for ten minutes to be served before approaching the waitress, where she noted we needed to order at the bar. I asked the bartender if I could please have a menu, before he grunted at me, where I then asked kindly again. He decided to yell at me in Spanish, ensuring all the other patrons in his restaurant heard him, and said how stupid I (an Australian) was to not order in Spanish in his restaurant. A patron in close proximity kindly translated for me where he went on and said we aren’t able to order food outside but he’d let us know when a table became available. I found the whole experience quite odd as the bartender could speak perfectly good English, as he’s mentioned in previous reviews, however chose to make my experience with him in his restaurant rather unpleasant for not asking for a menu in Spanish.
He then yelled out to me from the bar, while other patrons were still in the restaurant, that our table was ready before we kindly declined the offer and left after paying for our wine.
Overall, I’m sure the food is amazing but the service from this particular man ruined it for us. We didn’t feel welcome or as if we could enjoy a nice meal together given how we...

I would not recommend this place, if you want to have a nice steak. Following are the few reasons.
First of all, service was under average, I had waited more than 10 minutes got my first drink after I ordered it, and the restaurant wasn’t that busy at that time.
Second, all the steaks were kept in the fridge, precut and sealed in vacuum bags. When you order it, they will show you the cut without telling you the weight of the steak, and I noticed it has its weight on the package. Make sure you check the weight before you have it, cuz they played with the numbers and I realized it everything was too late. (I saw the weight was bit over 0.9kg but the waitress charged me 1.1kg), it wasn’t a lot but no one would happy with it even though the steak was okay.
Third, since all the meat was stored in the fridge, it doesn’t have enough time to bring the temperature to room temperature, so when I had it, inner side of the meat was still cold! So this place is not a proper steak house or grill bar.
If you don’t mind all above, you could still check it out, and don’t forget to share your...
