Yellow Deli Donostia — Restaurant in San Sebastián

Phenomenal experience at the Yellow Deli. The restaurant is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely kind! I initially ordered the veggie burger at which time I asked if it contains nuts… the server said seeds but no nuts.. when she came back with the food she said she had checked with the cook and the burger actually did contain walnuts and that she would bring me something else. If she hadn’t double checked, she probably would’ve ended up in Spanish emergency room. I really appreciate that she took the time to double check! I ended up with the chicken sandwich, and my friend ended up with the veggie burger and they were delicious. We split the cheesecake with strawberries and it was incredibly delicious.! They also open at 6am for breakfast which is significantly earlier than most breakfast places open...

La experiencia fue genial! Pasabamos por alli y vimos un cartel fuera y nos paramos a verlo. Amablemente nos invitaron a pasar sin ningun compromiso (que suele ser raro). El sitio nos parecio una pasada y el ambiente que se respiraba nos hicieron quedarnos y acertamos de pleno sin duda. El baño estaba super bien!!! Esta limpio habia rollos extra vamos de 10! En cuanto a la comida, al principio no sabiamos que no se servía alcohol, ya que pedimos una cerveza, amablemente nos explicaron que no vendían. Nos propusieron el mate y como no sabiamos si nos gustaría nos trajeron cuatro de los que ofrecian para que pudieramos elegir! Me parecio en cuanto a atención de 10! Como nunca habiamos estado no sabiamos sobre cantidades por lo que pedimos una ensalada chef grande para compartir, una veggie burger con mini sopa y un deli rose.

La ensalada estaba buena y el pan que con el que lo acompañan estaba perfecto (es comida ecológica y el pan lo hacen ellos), los mejor viene ahora, el deli rose y la veggie burger. El deli rose venia acompañado de patatas chips y un pepinillo junto al sándwich, estaba muy muy bueno sobre todo la mermelada de tomate, de verdad, no cobro comisión pero entre el mate de mango (que finalmente pedimos eso porque estaba muy bueno teneis que probarlo) y el sandwich todo me parecia genial.

En cuanto a la veggie burger, la pedimos acompañada de una mini sopa, era de verduras, de sabor era algo que nunca habia probado pero teneis que hacerlo, muy recomendable, la veggie genial y también iba acompañado de un pepinillo.

Finalmente como postre un gofre que por tamaño en ningun sitio de Donostia y buenisimo (no tengo foto).. de verdad teneis que ir sin duda! Son gente suuuuuper amable, te sientes como en casa y desconectas completamente porque creo que no hay señal o al menos en mi movil no lo habia (estaba sentada cerca...

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was incredible, the service was incredible.

I stumbled upon this small slice of heaven while recently visiting San Sebastian and I'm so pleased I did.

The food was totally and utterly delicious. The portions were very generous and the price was very reasonable. Myself and my friend left very satisfied.

The atmosphere was so cozy and relaxing we completely forgot about the rain and wind outside, for the hour that we were there we were totally relaxed.

It is simply fantastic and I would revisit San Sebastian just to revisit this...
