Parma — Hotel in San Sebastián

Great location. It's right by Old Town and across the bridge from the business district. Two beaches within walking distance and more restaurants than you can visit in a lifetime. Very clean (at least from the perspective of someone from the U.S.) and great service. There's also a great little lounge in the first floor if you're one of the unfortunate folks that had to check emails etc., while you visit.

Note: on an earlier version of this I accidentally clicked 1 star without paying attention. Please ignore that if you come across it. Even then though the staff reached out to me almost immediately, which speaks again to the service. I highly recommend staying here. It's not the most glamorous hotel in San Sebastian, but it is lovely and if you're here and spending a lot of time in your room you're doing...

The Hotel Parma is a small 2 story hotel located with a good view of the ocean and the river inlet. In fact, there were some surfers there one day. You can also see the conference center, which looks fantastic when lit at night. In fact, there were some surfers there one day. The location is very convenient to the old town, with the tapas bars, shops and the sights to be seen all within easy walking distance. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. There is no elevator, but the stairs are not too steep. The lobby has some nice seating, and the breakfast area is functional. This is a lovely, well maintained hotel with wonderful and helpful customer service. The location next to the sea and on the edge of Old Town cannot be beat, within 5 minutes of pintxos bars. Our room was a bit small with a peekaboo sea view. The size reminded me of being in a ship stateroom, with maneuverability about the same when trying to get to the bathroom. We knew that at booking.
