Review: Linares Bar & Restaurant – A Hidden Gem in San Antonio, Ibiza
Tucked along the picturesque Passeig de ses Fonts in San Antonio, Linares Bar & Restaurant is an unexpected delight that goes well beyond its modest appearance. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal, a light snack, or just a relaxing drink, Linares delivers in every way — and then some.
The menu offers an impressive variety, from classic main courses to casual bites. The highlight, without question, is their homemade Paella — available in seafood, chicken, or customized to your preference. Having never tried Paella before, we trusted the recommendation from the staff, and it was nothing short of perfection.
Throughout multiple visits, we sampled everything from a traditional English breakfast to a health-conscious scrambled egg with avocado and salmon, and even toasties that hit the spot for a midday bite. Their drink selection is just as solid, including a good range of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and quality English tea and coffee — all reasonably priced by Ibiza standards.
What truly sets Linares apart, though, is the exceptional service. The morning and afternoon team, particularly Xaui and Juan, exemplify hospitality at its finest. Warm, attentive, and always accommodating without being intrusive, they ensure your experience is both relaxing and enjoyable.
So, if you find yourself in San Antonio and are looking for a place that combines authentic flavors, variety, affordability, and top-tier service, don’t overlook Linares Bar & Restaurant. It’s a true hidden gem that more than deserves a spot on your...
Read moreDefinitely the worst place in San Antonio. The waiters confused our ordered items, people ordered vegetarian toast with cheese and then got it with ham. After calling the staff's attention, the toasts were taken away and the same ones were brought back with the ham removed - pieces of ham were still there. Total lack of respect for the customer. Additionally, one order was completely forgotten, and those brought earlier were mixed up - different from what was ordered. The food is of very poor quality and tasteless, there are traders selling counterfeit products hanging around the tables and they are allowed by the staff. It's not worth going there, there are much...
