Pains me to leave a bad review, but unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience with the food being way too heavy for me. I had the duck stir fry which granted one might expect not to be on the lighter side, but others who were with me and ordered the noodle dishes had similar complaints about the heavyness of the food.
The taste was nice. The kind and helpful waitresses clawed back an extra star on their own, but I wasn't left in the condition to recommend the food after it kept me up at night.
My previous Thai food experience was a few years ago in a different country and consisted of vegetarian dishes that seemed more agreeable to my stomach. Overall after this experience I'm not sure I'll give another try to Thai for s while and certainly not for dinner which, on one hand, might be a mismatch between me and the cousine but on the other, imagine having a restaurant turning you off on an entire cousine. You'd also not sing its praises.
Location whose st Cugat centre is always hard to find a flaw with, we sat outside and I didn't walk in the restaurant itself, so can't really...
Read moreTheir food was amazing! I have been to Thailand and the food tastes really the same as what I ate in Thailand. The fried spring roll was very crunchy and the sauce was perfect.
The fried noodles with shrimp flavor was awesome! It would be better if the shrimp could have a bit more flavor/or sal)
Their Thai milk tea even seems not the same color and taste as what I tried in Thailand, but it was very Asian style which made me think of my hometown’s milk tea in Taiwan! It was good for me, so I refilled the milk tea again. The beer was for sure not to miss it as it is traditional Thai beer and it tastes good and refresh. The tapioca con leche de coco could be better if it is colder.
Overall, I like the atmosphere, decoration, food, and waitress in this restaurant! Don’t miss it to try if you are in Sant cugat!
I will definitely...
Read moreThe service is amazing. I like that they have a good number of vegetarian options. I had the pad iu (veg) and asked for it to be spicy, and boy did they deliver!! It was really nice.
I only wish that every dish could be made Vegetarian/vegan by simply not adding the meat. I really wanted pad kimao (drunken noodles) but the veg version of it, but that was not possible. To be honest though, I know that this dish needs oyster and fish sauce and those would be really difficult to replace, so I definitely understand why it...
