Walked past this place on our way back from the safari zoo and spotted the wood burning grill and menu outside looked good so said we would come back later. Just to be clear we are a very easy going Irish family and not much would bother us when it comes to meals we just get on with it. Food nice but I wouldn't eat there again for free. The most ignorant staff and atmosphere I have ever encountered. They don't want to know you if you are not Spanish. It smells how a nightclub smells the morning after a heavy night, stale/sweet smell of bear. Had our 2 year old with us and never even offered a kids chair, I had to go to the other side of the restaurant to get one (after passing the first one as it was crawling with dirt), the one I got was not much better which I had to wipe down myself while the staff watched. Was trying to get the waiters attention after ordering to order more and after 10 minutes I got up and went up to him. At the end of the meal I wasn't waiting for a bill so got up to go to them to pay (waiters were well able to move then) and they came straight down to take plates and with a card machine to pay. Not getting into the Spanish family that sat behind us and kept banging the 4th chair at our table that I moved for the baby chair off us 3 times to the point I got up and moved it myself to the back of the restaurant, could argue that was on us however again staff just looked on and every other restaurant we went to on the Holiday had always moved the chair once the baby chair was moved in, would seem standard practise. Again food was nice (the best we had in sa coma) but would avoid especially if you have a family and if you don't want to go home angry...
Gracias...
Read moreMust go for families!! Relaxed restaurant with chilled atmosphere. All the staff are super happy and friendly, always smiling and ensuring you were comfortable without being intrudive. We were offered olives with bread and alioli while waiting for food which was delicious! Our mains couldn't be faulted either, my Partner and Step Son had stakes which were cooked perfectly to their requests, I had a hanging chicken kebab which was suculent and flavorful. There is a claw/grab machine there, that gives out often. My Step Son fel over and the staff where very attentive and even won him a prise from the machine. Everything was more than reasonably priced. The whole evening was a warm, welcoming experience and for us, along with being the best food we had, it was the best night of our holiday! Would highly recommend a visit if you...
