Siroco's — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

A very attractive restaurant with well meaning staff that serves overpriced and mediocre food . We ordered the fish mixed grill for 2, the most expensive dish on the menu at 26euros per person and received a sorry looking plate consisting of 4 king prawns, a handful of mussels,some rubbery squid and octopus along with 2 tiny salmon cuts and 2 small breadcrumbs cod pieces. That was it!! No salad ,no chips, in fact not even any slices of lemon or tarter sauce. ( simple but worldwide recognised accompaniments with any seafood dish). When voicing our disappointment there seemed to be no managers present to address their shortcomings. I recently dined at ‘Sirocos’ and it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt uncomfortable due to the behaviour of two staff members who were lingering and staring at us. Instead of attending to their duties, they spent the entire time gossiping loudly, which made the atmosphere quite unpleasant.

The food was equally disappointing. Every dish we ordered was poorly prepared and lacked flavor. It's clear that there is a significant lack of care and attention to quality in the kitchen. While this restaurant may be 4.1 stars as of writing I'm not sure we had bad luck or not but when me and my family (10 people) visited it on the first night of our holiday, we had 2 burgers with undercooked "snotty" eggs, we ordered 2 mussels and half of them were empty shells and half were under or overcooked, and the piala was very boring... Rice, 2 shrimp, 2 overcooked mussels..

Also the waitress we had after telling her about simply the missing mussels in the shells claimed we had eaten them all and then walked of giving us no solution and then the cheque. I don't suggest this place, plenty of other places...
