Patagonia Steak House — Restaurant in Santa Pola

As I had an awful reply from the owner on my visit that I couldn't counter reply to I thought I'd add it here. I reviewed the food as extremely salty. As I was about to catch a flight I couldn't risk complaining and waiting about. After first half of ribs nothing special but not great and was asked if OK and replied it was OK. After 2nd half I was parched the amount of salt unreal. After meal owner collected dish asked of OK and said very salty I didn't say no rubbish want a refund and never asked yet his reply to comment was look at all my good reviews and that I was after free meal. Check my other reviews of good food Steve. He never as admitted told chefs he just sits at nbar drinking booze and prob making up these reviews. Next door however at the chill out food is amazing as per my review. Having been a resteraunt owner 15 yrs I can tell you this guy is just on a quick buck using a familiar name to make it seem a reputable brand. Been coming here for years and not had a bad meal yet! Usually get the mixed grill for a mixture of different flavours, but also tried the steaks. Sauces and sides are also very tasty. Food is a bit salty but that enhances the flavour in my opinion, just need plenty of drink to wash it down 😀 would recommend the sweetbreads starter. They also do a set sharing menu including drinks which is very good value

My friends ate at your restaurant yesterday. Since I'm sick, they also ordered food to go for me. I wanted pork fillet medallions with mushroom sauce, baked potatoes with garlic mayonnaise.. I got 4 tiny slices of pork fillet with mushroom sauce without a single piece of mushroom in it. Baked potatoes with stale, unfresh garlic mayonnaise. Not a single vegetable. The portion was so small that not even a child would have been full. This for the exorbitant price of 15:90 euros....
