The Belfry — Restaurant in Santa Pola

Disgraceful... Went on a Friday to have Fish and Chips. Waited ages for drinks. When they arrived we were told there was only a limited menu. That was not a problem as we wanted the Friday Fish and Chips. We ordered 4 adult fish meals and a portion of chips for my 7 year old granddaughter. We were told they did not do portions of chips. We were surprised as we had ordered 4 meals all with chips. I asked them to ask the chef. The waitress said she would. As she did not return to confirm we presumed that all was fine. When our food arrived the waitress placed the four adult meals down and walked off. I asked for the chips for my granddaughter and she again informed us they did not do portions of chips. She went to leave and I asked for a plate so I could give my granddaughter my chips as by now she was crying asking why she had no food. Now had the waitresd confirmed that they would not do a portion of chips for her before bringing our food we would have gone elsewhere to eat. What restaurant serves fish and chips and can't cook an extra portion of chips ? And what so of person could give food to 4 adults and think it was OK to leave a child with no...

Tapas on a Tuesday, some of the food was amazing and well worth it were as some were pretty standard. Plates were $1.25 and beer was also $1.25 for half measures but we’re doing them in pint glasses for us. They count all the small plates at the end to see what you have had but to be honest 10 of us with drinks and food for $100 not gonna get much...
