Aruma Terraza — Restaurant in Santa Susanna

Horrific place to eat, we decided to walk the strip as I fancied some paella and figured we eat out for the evening. I got paella ,it looked nothing like any paella I’ve ever eaten (and nothing like the photos on the menu) the seafood seem to have been deep fried to within an inch of it life and the sauce was more like a stroganoff . Husband got the carbonara and it was absolute muck sauce made of milk and cornstarch,no seasoning,no flavour and the “spaghetti “ was mush. Kids had margarita pizza and chips ,pizza only had cheese on half of it and bone dry ,chips where okay but very hard to mess up chips , we where bombarded with flies which I understand we where eating outside but maybe a fly zapper or something, the staff where not friendly bar the lad that brought our drinks and when my husband complained there was nothing ,no sorry ,nothing, just pay and leave and to add to it all I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning as as soon as I got back to the hotel I threw everything up

Food was okay, but the service was so incredibly disappointing. Waiting a long time for menus and receiving them without the server saying a word. Having to reach out and ask them to order because they kept ignoring us. When we got the bill (after waiting for 20 minutes), they just swiped the money from our table without saying anything. We were expecting her to give us our change, but then the server just continued walking around doing other things which was very confusing? After some time we finally got our change, but again, without them saying anything. We never got a thank you, you’re welcome, or even a goodbye. No communication at all, which did not make us feel welcome. It almost felt like they were forced to serve us...

Had a awful experience at this restaurant on our last holiday night. The fish and chips was an old fillet of a white fish (unknown fish) that my mother said tasted as though it was out of date and stale. The smell that came from the plate was of old rotten fish. I ordered a half chicken that looked like on the menu two 1/4 chickens you get in Nandos. When it came present as it was as whole a chicken cut in half and partially cooked it. The skin was of a grey old colour and then when cut into there was oozing pink raw meat and blood as though the guts of the chicken had not been cleaned out. It was absolutely disgusting and revolting. The restaurant team did not seem at all shocked and we got one sorry from the bar man.
