Veneciano Aquahotel — Restaurant in Santa Susanna

While I was not expecting an authentic italian experience, to say the food was underwhelming is an understatement.

If you want to eat something decent, get the pizza, that one is decent. Not authentic, but it's a generic looking pizza which you can eat if you're hungry.

The pasta? Disastrous. Whatever dish they tried to call pasta carbonara is honestly a blasphemy to the original dish.

The sangria was made with tinned fruit cocktail, not fresh fruit.

But the thing we appreciated the least was the initial service. We were coming from the hotel and didn't see any sign with "please wait to be seated" and we weren't greeted by anyone for quite a few minutes while we were looking for a table for 8. We found a larger table and stood near it trying to figure out what to do, when a waiter yelled after us and snapped their fingers to go away from the table and wait in another area. That was not ok under any circumstance, coming to us and saying "sorry, can you please wait over there while we arrange a table for you?" would have gone a longer way.

Terrible restaurant, the prices are the only decent...

We went there to go have dinner and it was horrible. It looked nice at first but don’t get fooled! We waited an hour for our food then I got my food, the food of one of my friends took another twenty minutes, the food of my third friend came 40 minutes later than mine, so my food was cold at the time we ate!! Food was okay, nothing special. When we wanted to pay the waiter told us we can’t pay separately because his boss dislikes it, but he said he’ll ask him. The Boss came to our table was really rude and started screaming at us so i told him he couldn’t yell at his guests and that it was very rude, but he didn’t even let me finish my sentence and standet yelling again and got even more rude!! everyone was watching and listening and he was just embarrassing. At the end he let us pay separate which showed it was possible all the time he was just lazy! I’ve never ever met such a rude restaurant chef, unbelievable!!!...

The first time we visited Santa Susanna was 7 years ago, and we were all blown away by the pizzas, we tried back then. All of us have frequently talked about how good the pizzas were ever since. This fall my fiancé and I came back to Santa Susanna for a getaway, and we really wanted to come back to this place to see if the pizzas were still the best pizzas ever. And I am so happy that 7 years later, they're still the best pizzas! We also tried eating on side for the first time, and the pasta was also amazing! I will have to drag my fiancé back again at least one more time before we leave home, and after that I will not allow 7 years to pass again, before we come back. Staff is friendly and comfortable to talk to, I like the leaves covering the ceiling, it makes it pretty cozy. I am very hyped about this lovely...
