1 star ⭐ Today I thought about walking forward to eat a delicious Angus burger in the restaurant next to the hotel... I asked for a medium fried... it was served... I vaguely smelled meat that was not completely fresh When the burger was on the table in front of me and I took a bite, it turned out that the burger was not medium fried but hard fried and the vague smell of meat that was no longer fresh lingered. But I was not sure and I ate the burger.
Usually I stay for at least 30 minutes after dinner. But my stomach started to rumble heavily and I felt that I had to run to the toilet at any moment. I paid earlier and quickly walked to my hotel room. Luckily it was right behind it.
In the elevator that was supposed to take me to the 5th floor I could hardly hold it anymore, had to go to the toilet and had a terrible stomach ache by now. In my hotel room I had to go to the toilet quickly and threw everything up.
Then I took a quick shower, got dressed and went downstairs to the bar lounge and ordered two Coca Cola to calm my stomach... pfff there I am now, while I am writing this review, drinking 2 Coke with a slice of lemon... I'm feeling better now...
I did throw away 19 euros and worse, I couldn't enjoy myself for the last hour. So I won't be going back to that restaurant to protect the rest of my holiday.
One more thing: Don't let anyone tell you that the chef doesn't know what quality he is serving. If the chef claims not to know, then he doesn't belong in a restaurant kitchen.
If he thinks he does belong in the kitchen as a chef, then he has served food that was no longer good, and that is a disgrace and harmful to both the customer and the restaurant.
Even then, this chef doesn't belong in a kitchen... think...
Read moreFor those who don’t want to read long paragraphs - I strongly discourage visiting this place. Here is constructive and longer feedback: Waiters saw us incoming and sitting at a table. Although the place was almost empty (no one was inside and 4-5 tables occupied outside) but for almost 10 minutes no one came to get the order. Waiter brought only 1 menu, drink card had to be taken from another table. Waiters couldn’t estimate time of food preparation, they said „we have a lot of orders”, please note the place was almost empty. Food is 4/10, I’ve ordered a burger and a pizza. Burger was with some kind of Camembert-like cheese, but in fact it was that small I couldn’t even taste it. Pizza was good, dough is fine, but no one sliced it so we had to wait for waiter to bring it back sliced. Additionally why 4/10? - burger and fries were cold. I know in Spain standard of service even in expensive restaurants isn’t the best, but here no one even brought us napkins. The place is located in touristic place, but English of the waiters was poor, instead of napkins for the first time they brought sauces. lol. Atmosphere itself, design is beautiful inside and outside. However please note, there is no toilet and you need to go to the adjacent hotel, downstairs to infrastructure zone to the toilet. Drinks are ok. Mojito a bit too sweet, sangria good. Prices are ok.
Generally taken into consideration all the facts and poor service I don’t recommend you the place if you don’t want to ruin your day. “Bali” restaurant 100 meters from the place, which is almost 2 times more expensive still much more worth visiting (amazing food and careful service) than La...
Read moreNot really Mexican cuisine. I have been eating in proper Mexican restaurants for many years in the USA as well as in Mexico. I have tasted many variations on this from the traditional to the fast food variations. Started with margaritas. Did not notice they only make frozen or would have never ordered them. I have to say if you said it was without alcohol I would have believed it.. Not very strong or special... I ordered a burrito and my wife ordered fajitas. The contents was exactly the same and just with a different presentation. Overly moist chicken, over cooked peppers and somewhat ok onions. We asked for a spicy salsa as that is what we prefer. It looked more like tomato catsup with some hot sauce mixed in. Normally fajitas come on a sizzling pan.. That pan was warm at best and no sizzling involved. The flour tortillas seemed dry at the edges and not so fresh. We asked for guacamole with chips and felt the 6.50 price was a bit much for not freshly made. The best part of our time there was the waiter and waitress that served us. They served with a smile and were very friendly. If it was not for the servers I would have given a lower rating. You can guess we won't visit...
