With Love — Restaurant in Santander

Really nice brunch place! We came 10 minutes after opening but it was already full. Unfortunately, a women did not wait for the staff to be seated and skipped the queue and blocked table for 4 for 1.5 hours. They ask you to spend max 45mins at a table when having breakfast which is fair as it is not a huge place. We waited for around 20 mins to get seated, the food was prepared quickly. The pancakes, toast and coffee were nice but what was exceptional was the selection of cookies, buns and other pastries. We tried a couple of cookies and they were absolutely delicious. In total, for 3 people with 3 main dishes, 3 cookies, 2 juices, 2 coffees and water - we paid 44€ including tip. Came here because we read reviews that they had the best coffee in Santander, unfortunately it wasn't the greatest. The coffee was okay but certainly not the best. Ordered an Americano and got some form of a latte. We also ordered about 10 mins before another couple was seated yet they were served their entire meal and coffees before we even got a coffee.

This place is pet friendly which is great, however some awful dog owners who let their dog jump up onto and lick the tables. On the note of bad customers, plenty of patrons would come in from the cold and the rain but then leave the door...

This is a warm and cozy cafe, with kind smiles greeting you. We came early on all occasions, and we didn't have to wait too long for our order to be provided and prepared. I'm sure this place gets busier during the warmer months, but it would be worth the wait. They do prepare take away meals, which we did do, and the quality was as good. The display case contains many fabulous looking cupcakes, cookies, sweet breads, and cakes. We tried as many of the tostas and acai bowls (the right ratio and selection of ingredients) as we could, and all of them were fabulous. We spent 2 months in Santander, and this Café was our favorite, and we came back to this place more than any other...
