Yates's — Restaurant in Santanyí

We were staying in a hotel, half board in the area, we decided to try eating out instead of the hotel food, Yates was were we ended up. Ordered drinks...pint of Estrella and a non alcoholic pina colada., a paella and a chicken burger.. Drinks arrived and were drank..Food never arrived, an hour later we were still waiting..we spoke to the waitress to find out why it was taking so long.. who was very obviously irritated that we had questioned this, she reluctantly said would go speak to the kitchen.. She came back saying the kitchen never received the order....No apology just said they will do it now..we had had enough by this time and told her politely not to bother .. My Husband went to pay for the drinks and spoke to the man who seemed to be in charge about the situation and he just laughed..again no apology. He went on to charge us €15 for 1 pint of Estrella and 1 non alcoholic pina colada. Extortionate!! We paid as we couldn't wait to leave.. Luckily we were still in time to eat at the hotel which is what we did.. We both work in Hospitality and would treat customers...

Ordered a Long Island Iced Tea & Sex on the Beach cocktails. Both arrived tasting like coke and some sort of kids drink (€10.90 each). Expressed that we were unhappy that both drinks tasted terrible and zero alcohol. We were told that the cocktails are poured from a machine and they add extra shots🤷🏽‍♀️ Who pays €11 for a cocktail from a machine ⁉️ The drinks were replaced with…..THE SAME‼️ Worst cocktail of my life. Asked by the waitress if the drinks were better - told her ‘No’….the response….the outside terrace is closing so need you to pay your bill…so we left €20 AND our drinks and left (so annoyed with myself for leaving €20). Would not recommend cocktails from this...

We ordered a Guinness and a coke. The bartender got the order wrong and came back with a gin and tonic and a coke.

We told him it was a Guinness and he asked if it was okay that we took the gin and tonic else he would have to throw it out. To be nice we agreed to take it.

When bill arrived, were we asked to pay for the gin and tonic which was the most expensive (7,5€) drink on the menu agianst the 5€ pint of Guinness.

We called over the bartender that said we had to pay for it because we drank it and he didn't know anything about any errors doing the drink ordering.

We are not required to pay for your mistakes.
