Casa Comala offered a surprisingly good lunch, even without a reservation and with a tight one-hour timeframe. The service was impressively fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was lively with what seemed to be a local crowd.

The Black Aguachile Pacific coast ceviche was a refreshing start, with fresh seafood and a pleasant kick, though the sauce lacked some depth.

The Lamb birria from Jalisco was the standout dish, incredibly tender and rich in flavor, served with excellent tortillas.

The Golden tacos from Escuinapa were interesting, and the charred chili sauce was well-rounded, but ultimately the fried preparation overpowered the delicate shrimp.

Overall, we were happy with the service and ambiance. Given the limited upscale dining options in Segovia, I'd recommend Casa Comala, especially for a quick, flavorful lunch. However, I'm a bit hesitant about a return visit unless time constraints were a factor. It's a solid choice, but not necessarily a...

The best Mexican food in Spain! We are Vegan, and weren't sure there would be much we would like to eat. The chef came out to talk with us. He modified some things, and even created several dishes for us that were not on the menu. Everything tasted gourmet, homemade, and was presented beautifully. We forgot to take pictures of everything because we were so excited to try the food. Excellent service. Javier was friendly and very attentive at our table. Martin is a master chef. His creations were amazing! Nice vibe at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the chill music and ambiance inside. So so happy we visited this...

The place is very cozy, and the service was great. We were welcomed by one of the owners, Martin, who welcomed us with a glass of wine.

We had the the guacamole as entry. It was amazing and filling. The chips were fantastic. As main dish, we had tacos al pastor and the huevo rotos on a octopus hummus, which was delicious.

For drinks, we had micheladas. They were just right.

I am not rating a 5 because I thought the prices were higher than usual. However, the flavor was really good, and certainly a great option in the center...

⭐ Casa Comala was AMAZING! ⭐ From the very first bite we were blown away. The guacamole en molcajete was out of this world fresh, generous, and full of flavor. Their salsa ruda is something you cannot miss (we loved it so much we even bought some to take home 🥰). The tinto de verano with a Mexican twist was refreshing and unique, the perfect pairing. Honestly, every single dish was a true bomb of flavors. On top of that, the atmosphere and care they put into everything made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended! 🌮❤️✨
