steak was AWFUL. somehow both bony and fatty. super hard to cut, maybe since they gave me a butter knife to cut. once i asked for a steak knife, it was still difficult (likely since the cut of steak we were served was atrociously well done—when i had asked for medium rare—and completely the wrong cut than boasted on the menu). the service was overall negligent—our table of 5 was first plated with only four silverware/napkins/etc., which was no problem, we asked for another set.. but asking for the bare minimum became a frequent occurrence during our dinner, totally making this whole experience NOT worth the money. very expensive, and not even enjoyable. main reason for our unhappiness this evening was that two of the five people were served ONE HOUR after the rest. totally not enjoyable when half of the party has finished their meal and we all still have to wait on the other half to be served, not to mention the experience for those who had watched the party eat and been hungry. the cod was delicious though, so if you are unfortunate enough to dine at Pandora, I would reccomend. If you are seeing this before eating here, PLEASE go somewhere else, to avoid risking the terrible service we have experienced here. the cathedral view is just as good anywhere else in this...
Read moreThe restaurant was busy, and busy is always a good point to consider when selecting where to eat!
Our server was phenomenal,he was friendly, professional, and helpful! He went out of his way to make the experience memorable! I think that a lot more important than the food one eats in any restaurant, which can be a hit or miss, is the customer service experienced, which will make a difference when choosing to return to any establishment, as will be the case here!
Though I will return for the service experienced, I will additionally return for the overall experience, which was more than acceptable. The food was delicious, the wine list was extensive, the ambiance was upbeat, the decor modern/ chic, enjoyable.
It was certainly one of the busiest restaurants in the area, surely an acceptable option for when in the area, one restaurant I do recommend and most definitely...
Read moreFood was delish! The Segovia sponge cake was wonderful and everyone enjoyed it. I had Tagliatelle with cheek and cheese, kids had ibérico croquetas which they didn’t like but me and my husband enjoyed. My husband got the menú del día with Catalan soup, suckling pig and el águila beer which he really enjoyed. Food and drinks were lovely. Staff was busy but managed to get everything correct and gave proper utensils for everything. It sounds like a small thing but it’s not when you wait 15 min for a spoon and You have your soup sitting in front of you while you are hungry ( did not happen here but happens a lot elsewhere). The only this is that it took ages for us to get the bill and the kids started...
