After a stroll through the nearby Plaza de España, we were lucky to get there before the Sunday lunch rush and got a table along the sidewalk. The patio tables were apparently all reserved for regulars and there seemed to be a lot of locals dining there. The food was good and presented very artistically. See accompanying pics. The salmon salad was small pieces of smoked salmon with artichoke hearts, capers, red onion slivers on a mixed bed of greens. Very different and very good. The grilled cod was on a bed of sliced potatoes with chili oil and balsamic vinegar teardrops along the side. Beautiful presentation but a little too oily. The usual additional charge for bread and olives.

It is easily one of the best restaurants in Sevilla. Cod and avocado salad, lamb shoulder, and cod with tomatoes are a must-have! As well as homemade digestive - hierbas. And after such a meal you would need one for sure. Regretfully, the oxtail is no longer on the menu, and tuna salad contains mustard (so do be careful and ask your server in case of any allergies). If you're lucky enough, you would meet the owner, who is easily the nicest person you can meet with the exquisite taste for pairing wines and dishes. Would most definitely be back when in Sevilla.

Excellent restaurant in Sevilla with a superb service. As we walked into the restaurant, Manuel the waiter greeted us with a small and immediately found us a table. He mentioned he saved the last “arroz a la marinera” for us, which was a great recommendation. We also ordered boquerones fritos, mojama the dried Tuna and the cod confitado which were all fantastic! Overall one of the best restaurants we visited in Sevilla and some of the best service by our waiter Manuel. Don’t expect English here: remember you are in Spain!

Really good food. Had two waiters who spoke good English to offset my barely existent Spanish. Their recommendations were excellent and when we ordered the sole the waiter filleted it and served it up quickly and professionally. It's a proper restaurant. Do not confuse it with the smaller cafe's and bars dotted about. If that's what you're after, you'll get stung by the price. That's not to say it's extortionate. We had a good bottle of wine (Valdesil, €22), a whole fish with sides, a large house salad, bread, Dessert and a bottle of water for less than €80. Can't say enough nice things about the staff. Was a...
