A Memorable Dining Experience at Atávico
Dining at Atávico - Ancestral Gastronomy was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the food they serve. They took the time to explain every dish in detail, which made the whole experience feel thoughtful and personal.
We ordered the Entrecote and Low-Carb Tacos, and both were outstanding. The entrecote was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The low-carb tacos were a pleasant surprise—creative, satisfying, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into preserving ancestral techniques while giving them a modern, health-conscious twist.
The ambiance of the place matched the food—warm, inviting, and rich with character. If you’re looking for a unique culinary experience that combines tradition with innovation, Atávico is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely...

Atávico truly impressed us. The food was absolutely fantastic, full of bold flavours and creative combinations. The space itself is small and cosy—perhaps a bit tight indoors—but we sat outside, and it was perfectly comfortable.
We ordered the “Powerful” steak tartare served on the bone, tacos, sweet potato with a smooth purée, and chickpeas in curry sauce. Every single dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully prepared. It’s clear that the kitchen here takes real pride in what they serve.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in whether we were enjoying our meal. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for inventive, delicious food in a relaxed setting. A definite highlight of our...
Read moreWe ate here upon recommendation from a local, and we were not disappointed! As a celiac, it is hard to find safe places to eat while travelling. This place was ENTIRELY GLUTEN FREE!! It was amazing to not have to worry about cross contamination or what I could or couldn’t order on the menu.
We wanted something small, so didn’t order any starters or desserts, and wanted something with a good amount of protein. Between the two of us we had the “light burger” and the pasture entrecôte. The light burger was a chicken burger with goat cheese and a fried egg, served with a side of roasted potatoes. The entrecôte was cooked to perfection, served with mashed sweet potatoes and vegetables. The food was fantastic, the service amazing, and the decor was cute yet functional. We wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were staying in...
