Originally planned to grab pizza at a joint around the corner that was more highly rated but unfortunately they were getting ready to close and didnt have much left to choose. I was a bit reluctant to eat at a restaurant that served both middle eastern and pizza, but i set my prejudice aside and gave it a shot. Our server Moaz, spoke great english and was very patient with us trying to figure out all the menu options. Finally decided on a "chicken pie" and a standard cheese pizza. I will honestly say the pizza, specifically the crust, was one of the better ones I've ever had. Meanwhile the chicken pie was incredible unique, and while it wasn't something I'm used to, you can see the immense care that was put into it, from the generous minced chicken stuff inside the delicate crust, smothered in honey. While the food is quite good, the service sucks. I came here as a table of one and watched so four other tables get served before me. I didnt even get my table made until my food was ordered. I then ordered, the order was incorrect, I asked the waiter to change my table to outside. I was ignored and when I complained, was given a shrug.. It was very degrading and no one was apologetic. I am not sure if it was because I am only one, or what but the serviced was so bad I could not even finish my food. The cater to other tables was amazing but if you come here as a table of one, the service will be absolutely terrible. I arrived late in Seville 22pm and wanted something nice to eat but not too heavy after a long day travelling from West Cork. The whole area around me was so busy, Friday night and there was an unusual but probably religious precession happening near by. I sat down at a table in the restaurant and got a beer and still water in 1 minute. I ordered a tapas portion of the beef carpaccio with olive oil, parmesan, mushroom and leafy salad. It was delicious and melt in your mouth. For my second tapas portion I ordered the Cod, Potato Mash, Spices and olive oil. It was a generous portion and so tasty. Great food and brilliant service.
