I went on two different occasions within the same week! First time was perfect in every way possible- which made me want to visit again, second left me wondering what happened.

First time was early in the week, we were one of three couples dining. We ordered artisanal sourdough bread which was just heavenly, warm chewy airy just honestly the best sourdough I’ve had in a long time! We got the cupcakes which were chefs kiss delicious! The cannelloni had the perfect umami, the texture w soft and chewy creamy plus the crunch from the pearls they added were just perfect. The star was their pork dish- never in my life have I had pork this flavorful! Cooked perfectly! I to this day think of that pork and how to recreate it! I also got the their version of crème brulee which was tasty as well. Service was impecable! Our server was ontop of everything! Very amicable, had extensive knowledge about the menu, paired wine w our dishes well. Ambiance was nice, plant wall was beautiful and Ennea was a great companion through our dinner!

We honestly were so impressed by our meal and experience that we decided to visit one last time before leaving Sevilla … which was a mistake

We did visit on a much more busy night. Maybe slightly over half of the restaurant was full, service was not as personalized- which is understandable being more busy. We had to wait a bit to get anything ordered, not as much knowledge about wine so we opted for water.. The sourdough bread was cold and hard - the pork that we came back for was very overcooked… texture was different, it no longer had that melt in your mouth sensation and flavor was just not the same.

overall I would recommend de la o- it truly is a special place , that being said the experience does depend on the date you go. I’d recommend going on a slower date earlier...

OMG just amazing! I found this restaurant listed in Conde Naste Traveller Seville. It is located behind a hotel that appears to be undergoing refurbishment. I did wonder where google maps was taking me but you turn a corner and see a lovely restaurant location on the river. We arrived before opening time and asked if there was a table available, we were lucky that the owner was there and we explained we found the restaurant in CNT. They found us a table albeit we had to be off in 1 hour 45 minutes which was fine for us. The owner took the time to come out and tell us what his favourites on the menu were, which was so nice and we really appreciated. We followed his advice and had the Cupcake, which was an explosion of flavours in your mouth, cod, rice, crispy texture and spice. I would highly recommend this and don’t think I have eaten something as good in Spain. We also had the crispy prawns, again wonderful flavours and extremely light batter. Then for mains the salmon and tuna ribs both fabulous although the salmon could have been done a tad more for my friend. Desert we shared the cake with amaretto. All in all a first class restaurant, with top notch service from all the team. Thank you very much for a wonderful meal and great...

Its back door patio is right in front of the river, which makes for a beautiful scenery. The service could not be better. It been a while since I’ve received this level of service for this price. I would compare it to a Michelin star restaurant service (let you try the wine before pouring, pour the gin in front of you, double check the bill in front of you before putting it in the table, knowing the whole menu including drinks in great detail, amazing bread…). Top scores for the savoury dishes too. We tried the rice (arroz de la tierra), pork (abanico) and pate. The desert was a bit more of a disappointment. We tried the traditional Torrija. It looked beautiful, but had rather a big price for a piece of bread dunked in honey. Also, the bread had not been marinated enough in the sauce when fried, which meant it was dry and rough on the inside instead of gooey, moist and chewy (I’ve put a photo). Also, not a big fan of raisins on the ice cream. But that is just a personal preference. Overall however an incredibly pleasant experience, but I cannot give it 5 stars due to the failed desert traditional to that part of Spain. I would however return and not...

This is a great little restaurant. Very small space, beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting atmosphere. Very quiet and great for an intimate meal. Amazing professionalism and courtesy from the wait staff: attentive and never intrusive. The menu is a bit eclectic in that it fits a little of everything. Mostly small dishes that are very well prepared and perfectly plated. You can get from a small bite to a substantial amount depending on your order. It is definitely not an expensive restaurant for the quality of food you are served. I opted to order only the starters and small bites and I was satisfied trying all sorts of different flavors. They were even sweet enough to make half portions of some so I could try different ones. I can not point out a flaw with anything I ate, even the bread service has the most amazing seasoned tomatoes. Don't skip the delicious desserts (I can recommend chocolate brownie and the sponge cake). A highly recommended place if you go to Seville.
