Can Llopis — Restaurant in Sitges

We decided to look out of town for something less touristy, more local. We found this place with good reviews on Google Maps so gave it a try. Unfortunately when we got there they said they had no tables for tonight or tomorrow. Although there were plenty of tables, it was up to the chef how many covers he would accept. After a bit of pleading, the chef agreed to serve us. As we know very little Spanish and the waiter knew little English, we decided to just let him choose dishes. They were excellent choices including whitebait, prawns, calamari and clams in delicious sauces or batter. The food was excellent but not cheap. We found this local tapas cafe by chance and it’s absolutely a gem. They turned us away as it was fully booked. But after little pleading, they opened up a table for us! Therefore I recommend booking in advance as this place is hugely popular amongst the local people.

We heard a lot of positive comments about this place . We went yesterday for the first time with friends and we loved it . The terrace , the environment and the food are amazing.
