When the locals queue you know you are onto a good thing, a very good thing. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, wherever you look there is something gorgeous to see from ceramic birds hanging from the ceiling to the most enormous arrangement of silk flowers in a massive pot. The staff were so friendly and kind really going out of their way to assist us English speaking visitors and the food was absolutely magnificent. I had the steak tar tar and it was fresh and tasty while my husbands octopus tentacle on a bed of mash was simply exquisite. For mains we shared a whole seabream and it could not have tasted better and came off the bone so easily. We were gifted a limoncello each by the owner and it was the perfect ending to a meal that was truly sublime. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. We ate here pretty much every day for the two weeks we were visiting Barcelona. It started out that way because the restaurant was just downstairs from where we were saying. But it quickly became because they have some great food at nice prices and a cozy patio. The wait staff, while not fluent in English, takes the time to walk you through menu items if you have any questions. Also, their menu of the day always has some really tasty dishes! It's a nice place, the waiters are very nice and helpful. We had a menu for two, which was perfect, plenty of food and very tasty, we couldn't even finish the third course. The best menu we had here during our stay in Spain.
