Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Tías

7 of us visited this bar as it looked appealing and there was a guy playing guitar who sounded good. Sadly what we experienced was very unpleasant. We were approached by one of the most unfriendly, rude and ignorant staff who has awful customer service and didn't seem to want our business. Whilst trying to give business locally rather than PDC it wasn't welcomed. Drinks are heavily priced with poor service. When asked what beers they served he aggressively spoke in a poor tone ”go into the bar". Walked off before we had a chance to finish the order. When going to to pay he didn't realise I'm fluent in Spanish but spoke badly of me because I asked him to spilt the bill into two bills. He slammed receipt down aggressively and stated NO. We will be er return and will speak to many a friend and family to avoid this place sadly. I have seen other comments referencing what I'd imagine to be the same person but there is clearly nothing done about his attitude as he is still there and still rude. We had a lovely meal on Sunday afternoon ! 6/10 /24 And the elderly Spanish women was very welcoming ! However we returned for a night drink me and my wife really enjoyed the musician I ordered 2 bottle of coors and the middle aged barman Rudley corrected us the way we pronounced coors beer ! he was also rude and also threw the beer mats on the table for our beers ! I left the musician 5 Euros but I refuse to leave a Rude barman any tip as 99% always leave a tip but not with his attitude ! We felt that unwelcoming we left the musician half way through the gig ! We visited this cafe almost every day on our holiday, from breakfast to afternoon and evening drinks. Snacks throughout the day provided. Set on a corner opposite the beach and Atlantic Ocean, watching the aircraft coming into land. A great place for half way refreshments or hiding out of hot mid day sun.
