Two amazing dinners at this restaurant this week. We didn’t have bookings and got lucky both times considering it was quite busy so I would recommend booking to be 100% sure but the staff were very accommodating. The first night we shared a selection tapas at €7.95 each which resulted in a pricey bill at the end but nothing too extortionate considering the portion sizes and amazing taste. The second night we had chorizo as a starter (our favourite from here) & pizzas for mains which were also unreal. We then had a Kinder sundae to finish everything off which was great. The cocktails are fantastic from here too! The staff were so friendly and looked after us well, this was recurring as they were helping families with young ones and having a laugh with the customers, it was a great environment. The restaurant itself is very pretty and good vibes. Would absolutely return if in this area again!

I ate here with my family the 12 August and EVERYTHING was terrifying. I took a pizza (obviously it was a refrigerated one) and the others marinara mussels (heated with microwave(I heard the sound of it)) and squid (same as mussels). The service doesn't exist and the personal is the only one in the island that isn't nice. The tourists are attracted here by the good tables and sits. We were too afraid to take a dessert. From an Italian I think this place can't be named *Italica*, because Italy is totally an another thing. You can't serve microwave heated food and think that people would like it. In definitely DON'T GO THERE Mostra meno

We went on a 10 days vacation to Lanzarote. in 10 days we ate 5 times at Restaurante Italica. We loved the food and we have ordered starters, main menu and desserts. Especially the Pizza and Pasta where delicious!!. We also liked the cocktails. Even if u want it without alcohol they are still very good. The service was also very good and the staff is is very kind. They are always in for an conversation. It has a really nice view on the beach what really gives u that vacation feeling. Kind regards, The Dutchies.

Very rude manager/personnel in charge. I sat down on the sofa area to order a coffee while I was waiting for my husband to join me with my son and our friend. As the manager was approaching me I was sure he was going to say “hello” first and ask me what I wanted to order; but instead he just abruptly said “table is reserved” and stormed off almost being annoyed with me that I say there. I want to add that there was no note on the table saying that the table was reserved, otherwise obviously I would have not sat there. I stood up and walked over to the counter where he was conversing with another person. When he was finished, I asked him why was there no note on table if it was in fact reserved? And he said “I forgot” and then added “the table is reserved for clients”.😳 To what I said “well, I am a client, no”? He didn’t know what to response and I aksed furthermore what time is it reserved from and he was just being super rude all the way saying that today the table will be reserved all day and walked away from me. There was no apology or suggestion to move me to another table, he was just being rude and angry for no reason and had a really bad attitude. Very bad experience, lack of basic customer service skills, there was no need to be like this. I would have moved to another table no problem, if he would politely offer me one and be friendly. There are many lovely places to have a lunch or coffee in Matagorda area where you are treated with...

Stopped by for a couple of cocktails which I have to say were nice, overlooking the sea. Nice place for a quick stop. All was a good experience until our cocktails were served and my glass had what appeared to be blue dye over it but this wasn’t apparent until it was on my hands. I wasn’t really too fussed about this however I did tell the waitress to make her aware as I’m sure not everyone wants blue dye on there hands. I then went to the toilet when the waitress approached my girlfriend and proceeded to state that “oh men are delicate” to which my girlfriend replied “excuse me?” Then the waitress walked off not sure if there was a little language barrier but from my point of view we could all understand each other and there was no need for the comment from the waitress. On the whole the drinks nice and it’s a...
