Disappointing. Food came out completely wrong and manager was rude.

I had ordered a medium rare steak and my partner had ordered medium well.

The waiter seemed a bit confused at first when bringing out steaks over, so i had asked him twice to make sure which steak was which.

The waiter had confirmed that the one he served me is medium rare and vice versa.

Naturally I trusted the waiter, so I had poured the mushroom sauce all over my steak before cutting into it.

once I had cut into it, the steak was very tough and almost brown on the inside, whereas my partners was red and slightly raw on the inside, leading me to believe that the server got out ordered mixed up. I had tried a taste of my partners steak to confirm that it was indeed medium rare due to its much softer texture (both cuts were ribeyes).

My partner doesn’t eat mushroom so unfortunately we could not swap our steaks around.

I had complained to the waiter/manager, to which he doubled down and said that he thinks I’m wrong and that I have been served the correct steak, with no apology or anything (although credit to the original waiter for apologising as soon as he saw that the steaks that were served were clearly mixed up). He offered to serve me a new steak, however, we had already waited over an hour at this point and the restaurant was closing soon. In addition to this, I didn’t want my partner to eat alone while we had to wait for a new steak.

The incorrect order but also the attitude from the manager left a sour taste in my mouth, especially when paying eur 100 for a meal for two people, you would expect better service and no mixups.

Unfortunately this led to a bad dining experience, particularly on...

We dined there on the 27th October 2022 the food was amazing myself and partner both had sirloin cooked med/well number 4 on the chart and it was amazing. Best steak we’ve had in a long time! The garnish that comes with the steak was Spanish style potatoes cut into coins along with peppers, onion and cherry tomatoes. For starters I had the sizzling prawns which I’ve had a lot of over the years and they were great! My partner had melon with cured meat which she said was very nice. Although we are not wine drinkers they had an extensive wine menu and I’m sure any enthusiast would find a bottle or two that would compliment their meal perfectly. The cost of the sirloin was very reasonable, I’ve seen quite a few reviews where people have said the restaurant was more expensive than your average but given the quality of the meat and the atmosphere I had no issues with the cost. The restaurant probably has about 18 tables and as we were leaving people were queuing outside to get in. If I went back again and had to queue I would as the food is worth the wait! My son who is three had chicken goujons with hand cut chips which he ate all of. We have been in Lanzarote for two weeks and it’s the first meal he has finished entirely. Anyone looking for a steak I wouldn’t look past this place! Thanks for having us and if we’re ever in Lanzarote again we...

Visited a week ago.I started with deep fried cheese and fig jam, so tasty, could have had it as a main course, hubby had tomato bread topped with Iberian ham, melt in the mouth. I had local ribeye, wowsers, it was huge, hubby had local sirloin as tender as anything. Served with lovely sliced potatoes, we ordered a side salad and side veg, didn't need the extras to be honest. Nice touch, was brought out complimentary pre-starter, meatball with relish, absolutely gorgeous. Nice staff, nice to see the chef prepping and cooking the mains. Would go again if ever in the area. You need to book online, q r code on outside of...

This is a dining experience! From the warm and friendly welcome to being treated like an old friend by all the staff!! Booking essential. The atmosphere is of a true Canarian restaurant. The food is extraordinary. My partner and I had the Solomillo fillet steak, my dad the rib eye and my mum lamb chops. A fillet that cut like butter wrapped in tender bacon. The quality of ingredients spoke for themselves in the simplicity of the dishes. I didn't really have room for a pudding, but when the waitress, who has to be the best on the Island, said it was sweet I had to try it. Polvita is now my new favourite. A 5* dining experience. Thank you
