La Terraza — Restaurant in Tías

Take my advice and avoid this place at all costs. First and foremost the food was poor. I ordered 3 tapas dishes. One of my orders was calimari, it was like eating a Goodyear tyre, it was that tough it offered me mate Dave a straighter. The coating was soggy and was cooked in oil that was older than my 6 year old daughter. Hands down the worst dish I've ever been served on a restaurant.

The chicken wings were eatable and came with a BBQ sauce out of a bottle so the chef(using that term loosely) couldn't get that wrong. My remaining dish was meatballs, they were really dry and the sauce was thinner than a 1990s Ethiopian and the icing on the cake they were served with chips. That's right, tapas with chips. Brother in law ordered a second bottle of wine half way through the meal, he had to head back to the hotel because his polo shirt was ruined of a chair. He walked to hotel and back he beat the wine to the table.

My wife's dish was mixed meat scewer, the chicken was dry. My daughter had a pizza and the cheese was...

Such a shame about this restaurant. Regularly came here before but seems to be under new owners.

Took well over an hour for starters to arrive after ordering then ignored us with empty drinks.

Food was okay at best. Meat, some of it was nice others cold, makes sense as it's small kitchen with only 2 people working on it so food was not served fresh all together.

Fish was fine, slightly dry, would order it again tbf and the pizza was worse than an Aldi frozen one....funnily enough, table behind us had left all their pizzas uneaten as well.

In short, do not order pizza. Expect a long wait but... sitting outside is nice and drinks are cheap.

Much better restaurants close by, eat here at your own risk...drinks wise,...

Were here for Lunch a few Days ago.

Good: The Service was charming. Beer for 1,50€ is really cheap.

Bad: The Food was horrible The Pizza was most definetely a frozen one, just drenched in oil. Sadly not even a good one. I have had better frozen Pizzas before at home, and I think the standard of a restaurant should be higher than that.

The Ceasar Salad was a very small portion with small bits of Fried Chicken on top. Tasted as bad as a salad can taste.
