My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselfs to dinner as it was our last night in lanzarote, and we was blown away!!

Earlier in our holiday we was on a bit of a bar crawl getting shots, as you do when on holiday! By the time we stopped by this place we were slightly drunk ignoring the fact the place was practically closed and the staff their were about to sit down and eat their meal. They still welcomed us in with smiles and served us 3 shots of tequila (which was the nicest tequila I've ever had) costing only 2euro each!!!!!

Later on in the week we're looking for somewhere to eat, so after walking past many restaurants we thought we'd go back to this place and see what the food was like.

Standing outside reading the menu the gent who manages the restaurant, unitrusivly talks us through the menu, with great knowledge he recommended a cut of steak we've never heard of before and with that he sat us down inside.

Greated with the same smiley face when we were drunk, he recognised us and greeted us with a handshake!

We order the steak that was recommended to us, with cheese garlic bread to start and 2 mojitos!

Everything was pretty much homemade and delicious!

Mojitos were spot on!

Garlic bread was homemade and delicious!

Then the steaks!!!! I ordered mine medium rare, my boyfriend ordered his medium. Both was cooked perfectly, melted in your mouth, and cut so easily!!

The pepper sauce was just to die for! And I love a garlic dip, this garlic dip was beautiful!

We didn't fancy any desserts as we're not really sweet kind of people, but choose 2 shots of tequila instead! They then gave us 2 more shots on the house as it was our last night!!

Overall, the staff treat you like family, the food is nothing but amazing, and the vibe/atmosphere of the restaurant is homly and welcoming!

1000000% recommended, if you're in the area avoid the disappointment and the constant harassment you get by the restaurants on the beach front, and go here! An independent, family run, sanctuary for...

One of the best steaks on the island. You may need to book a reservation. Very friendly, helpful, yet busy staff - he speaks so many languages! Lovely local wine (Vega de Yuco - the best in my opinion)

The family that run most of the restaurant are from Paraguay, and proud. There are other staff to help out, one from Latvia for example, everyone always keen to ensure you're comfortable, in persuance of excellence. A proper napkin is supplied here instead of a paper tissue, to indicate stature and it reassures you that your in a proper place here.

I almost couldn't finish my main course - the starter and mains were enough so I didn't make it to desert. My starter was the goats cheese, a popular dish on the whole of the island and it didn't disappoint. It was a large portion though and although I am a big guy, it was too much for one person I think - a good dish for 2 to share. Pricey too.

I went for the fillet steak as I didn't want a huge lump of meat and prefer quality over quantity. Even though I perfected cooking steak for myself recently (took long enough!! 🤣) I was not at all disappointed with how the lovely tender fillet had been...

This is a great little restaurant. A rustic place with views of the sea. I visited late in the afternoon and it was nice and quiet. The chef was busy behind the counter with one waitress attending. She was so friendly and attentive. I ordered garlic prawns, a glass of house red and sparkling water then the fillet steak medium. The prawns came out sizzling accompanied with a tasty bread bun to mop up the oil. The prawns were delicious and a lovely flavour from the oil. .y steak arrived and I was surprised how thick it was. I have to say it's probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Cooked to perfection with a smokey taste from the grill. Chips on the side and grilled vegetables all very tasty. I also got a dish with 4 different sauces which the waitress explained what they were. I was blown away with the flavours. Espresso to finish and given a commentary honey rum on asking for the bill which came to a very reasonable 37 euros. This place ticks all the boxes,...

Nothing special, we choose lomo alto, due to their reviews and trip advisor reviews, it was a bit of disappointment, service was very poor, no wine cooler for the white wine, no bread offered with the starters, guest who arrive after us were servers before us ( the order was taken before us) , a overall non attentive and disinterest servers, we will probably try again, as I always give a second chance, hopefully next time the servers will be a bit more attentive and positive towards guests. Lono special beef was okey, starters were very good, the fish of the day was good too, but not freshly catch as advertised the fillet of sea bass most likely comes from the city fishmonger. Location is good and the interior are very nice too, during the day the view must be spot on and perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner.
