I have walked many times by this little bar (and restaurant) during my many stays in Tarifa. After I finally decided to venture inside have a coffee and to use Bossa’s much-appreciated strong WiFi signal. Afterwards, I broke down and enjoyed a "Happy Hour" mojito which was delicious and almost half the price of other bars in town.
Bossa is located just inside the archway entrance to the old area of Tarifa--Puerta de Jerez. Inside Bossa there is a smaller separate room next to the main bar area and a few small tables are outside. It is a gathering place for the English-speaking expatriates who live in Tarifa.
Service was fairly prompt even though there was only one person working, and Bossa had several other customers while I was there.
On my most recent glance at the menu posted outside, I noticed its dish of the day was a curry served with rice for 6.50 Euros, which is very reasonable for any place in this small...

Read moreWe actually thought it was a joke. The staff rudeness, only surpassed by the terrible food. We entered smiling and left bemused!
We ordered a simple nachos dish, with beef, it was not good - the entire experience left a really nasty taste in our mouths.
