Chef Clive Experience — Restaurant in Tarragona

We are currently working and living in Tarragona and were looking for a place to have a nice breakfast. We found Clive due to the good reviews. I couldn’t imagine anything to be better here. It’s a cosy place with a great chef and two lovely waitress. Don’t focus too much on the menu but just ask Clive what he is going to do for you today. Everything he brings is finger licking good. The sandwiches are a real highlight, the sweets are always a great surprise and the coffee is outstanding. Prices are more than reasonable if not to say quite cheap for what you get. Don’t miss the concerts there in the evening once in a while. It will be fully crowded but the atmosphere is so great. Dulces con acento inglés y sabor British, en la Bakery de Clive degustarás dulces de elaboración propia que endulzan cualquier momento, sandwich que reviven a gladiadores y un ambiente que te invita a disfrutar con alegría y simpatía, suena raro, pero es real, te animo a que compruebes tu mism@ si es cierto o no. En Bakery Cheff Clive se alinean varias cosas que hacen que ese local sea como una serie de TV, cada trabajador tiene su papel y he de decir que hay alguna nominada al Oscar, porque no interpreta su papel, ella es así, con una sonrisa constante y un flow único, la camarera te ofrecerá en pocos segundos y a tu lado, lo mejor de lo mejor, está la actriz secundaria, una máquina que funciona a la perfección, como un reloj! Controla cada pedido y no se le pasa nada, hay que valorar que son el team perfecto. Y por último está el Chef Clive, un pastelero nato con sello UK, que no para de crear dulces y más dulces, está todo el día produciendo, y lo mejor es que disfruta con lo que hace. He visto algunas críticas que valoran negativamente la limpieza, yo he dado muchas vueltas, y he visto de todo y para mi, el local está bien, eso sí, si vas a última hora piensa que por allí ha pasado un batallón. Finger licking good. We entered the restaurant expecting good food based on reviews but we’re still blown away. Chef Clive offered to make something vegetarian for us and it was just fantastic. Has to be the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Worth traveling from Salou to Tarragona only for this. Friendly, warm staff and of course a very friendly, passionate and expert chef Clive.
