La caseta de les Tres Bessones — Restaurant in Tarragona

We discovered this place by chance during a morning walk. It is located on a cozy sunny square in the historic center. We decided to just have coffee at first, but then we saw the menu and the girl named Anna was so friendly that we ordered snacks. The coffee was delicious as was the food. This is a family run cafe which is always a big plus for me. It is very convenient that you can order half a portion of appetizers and try everything at once. By the way, the portions are very generous. The prices will pleasantly surprise you. Good and varied selection of food and drinks. Delivery and service top notch. Highly recommend! We visited this lovely restaurant for lunch. It is situated in a busy placa close to the Cathedral. All the tables outside were occupied so we sat in the cool of the restaurant and I’m so glad we did as we saw how lovely the family was that runs this restaurant. They were so welcoming and friendly. Our tapas was superb and the portions very generous. We enjoyed every mouthful and loved the heart warming atmosphere of this restaurant. This is a very special place with great food and wonderful people. Our waitress Annabelle is especially sweet. Her mother does the cooking (the Mediterranean plates are delicious, especially the chicken!), her father and siblings work there too, and they are all warm and welcoming. There’s even a Cafe Cat named Peachy.
