Bar Lomo Blanco — Restaurant in Tazacorte

This is a great bar/cafe which has recently been modernised. Located right in the centre of Tazacorte town, 2km inland of the small beach resort of El Puerto, it's a great place for a drink or snack too. Jesicca behind the bar is very friendly and helpful. The theme in the bar is of a surf beach so it's a fun atmosphere and quick a vibe thanks to the locals and bar staff, although the locals are not exactly surf dudes :) For snacks there are crusty rolls filled with things such as tuna, bacon, cheese, etc. Or tapas including a great wedge of home-made omelette, croquettes or potato and tuna salad (called Ensalada Rusa). Vorsicht Touristennepp! Preise auf der Rechnung waren doppelt so hoch als auf der Karte ausgewiesen. Bei Reklamationen wurde Barkeeper schnell unfreundlich mit abwertenden Gesten. Konnte er vorher noch Englisch wollte er bei der Reklamation nur noch Spanisch verstehen. Schade, denn das Essen war ok und die Bar mit vielen einheimischen Gästen eine eigentlich schöne Location. No vuelvo más. Pésimo servicio. Pedimos una tapa de albóndigas y unas papas fritas, nos cobraron 9 albóndigas y nos pusieron 7, y tardaron más de 20 minutos en calentarla en el micro. 15 min después unas papas fritas de las congeladas.
