La Tasquita — Restaurant in Tazacorte

I will start saying that the owner who is the waitress and is an awful person. I got to this place, went to the bar to ask if my family and I could take an empty table outside. He didn't say hello. He was getting receipts for two tables and I waited until he finished to ask him. One of the persons who was with me had a bad knee. So he sat down at the table while I was asking for permission to take the table. At first he didn't say we could get the table, and when he saw my friends at the table he said, in very disgusting way, why I was asking if we already were there. I told my friends to leave the place and this guy (owner) told me shut up in a way that was not nice at all.

I don't recommend this place because energy in the food and beverage you take there is not good for you. That person has the most negative energy I have...

I cannot agree with some of the negative reviews about La Tasquita. My partner and I have just eaten here and our experience was really positive. We were shown to a table straight away. Our questions about the menu were answered pleasantly. The food was beautifully served with leaf decoration and was really delicious. I have given four stars for service only on the basis that, as the restaurant was very busy, two servers would have been helpful. The poor guy was run off his feet trying to take orders and deliver the food and drinks to everybody. Well recommend as a place to watch a glorious sunset whilst eating. Eat here last night. The food is OK but the service was awful. Ordered 4 tapas and wine. The wine came. First tapas arrived, we finished it, waited another 10 minutes for the next, after that the original waiter had clearly gone to serve a party of locals and so we waited ten more minutes for the third tapa, finished it and then had to ask for the fourth. When we complained they clearly didn't care and we left in disgust, no tips. If they had apologised, we would have felt better...
