La Ventita de La Marmota — Restaurant in Tazacorte

I usually don't write those kind of reviews, but today I will make an exception. We were a group of 4 very hungry and not very picky young hikers, who wanted to have a decent meal after a whole day of hiking. The meal at La Ventita or La Marmota (one is restaurant and the other is a bar, but they are connected) not only was not decent, it was awful. First of all, everything we got on table, was cold. Not hot, not warm, cold as ice (burgers, potatoes, etc.). The mini burgers trio and the Artesean burger were the worst burgers me and my friends had in our life, and we are not some kind of gourmets or anything like that. Very cheap ingredients, dry tasteless meat, kind of buns that have expiration date after 1 year of buying, cheap, low-quality souce, meat and potatoes COLD AS ICE, potatoes were hard as if they were waiting on a plate from the day before. Every other bar or restaurant we ate in on the island was like a 3-star Michelin restaurant compared to this experience. I would give 0 stars but that is sadly not the option. 0 flavour, I didnt know burgers nowadays comes cold as ice, maybe they think they are serving ice cream (the cheap one). Delicious and affordable food served by lovely and welcoming staff. We had three tapas dishes between the two of us, which was plenty and filled us up. Excited to go back tonight and try out the other options...
