Restaurant La Hacienda — Restaurant in Teguise

Last night we went to the restaurant greeted by a young polite lady. Showed us to our table and that was it. 15 mins had passed before someone came near us and the only reason they did come over was that my daughters chair leg broke and she hit the floor hurting her shoulder. 5mins later we got a drinks order taken 15 mins later the drinks arrived. 5 minutes later we paid for our drinks and left. Waiter tried to convince us that after we order food it would be very quick and we wouldn't wait too long but at this point we were beyond annoyed. Terrible service long waits. Two other tables also left while we patiently waited for a menu or a drinks order...

Staff are lovely, food is dismal hot food goes out on hot plates 15mins or more before restaurant opens and doesn't keep food hot... microwave is available...basic salad, heinz mayo or oil and balsamic dressings... chips chips and chips... couscous, rice and frozen veg..fish or meat freshly cooked ...tinned fruit, jelly, sloppy rice, sugary pastries and my personal favourite Papaya topped with fly!!!!! Breakfast is cold too, very disappointed go self catering not half board...

The steak looked grey, barely warm, little atmosphere.
