I hate to leave a review on what is specifically a beach, and a really nice beach at that. However the whole beach front area and restaurants are very tired and over "british-fied" if that makes sense. Think like a run down blackpool, where each restaurant could do with a lick of paint. Quite a few vacant buildings as well. It's sad and I'm sure 10-15 years ago this would have been a much nicer area to walk around. Also, big big problem for me, the lack of public toilets! Walked for ages without seeing one!

Beautiful and quiet playa in Costa Teguise. It's sandy with rare rocks. Safe for your children, few waves, but always windy. There are few seaweed in the water but you can have a shower. The sun is high and strong, don't forget your suncream! You can do windsurfing, with a teaching coach. There are several umbrellas and sunbeds, about 15 euros per day (one umbrella and two sunbeds). During the worst hours of sun you can reach bars, restaurants and shops all around. ☀️🌈🐚🌊🏖️

A very beautiful beach with a lot of shops around to eat, drink, rent bicycles or scooters, clothing etc. The beach itself is very clean and a popular tourist area so you can imagine there will be a lot of locals trying to sell things to you like massages and sunglasses. Not really much to do in the way of water sports so grab a book or something. This is also a very topless friendly beach so you will see a lot of this. This is standard in the Canaries. Overall great beach to relax...
