La Terraza Grill — Restaurant in Teguise

We've been eating out every night since arriving in Lanzarote, and THIS restaurant has to be the best so far. The service is excellent, everyone is extremely friendly and welcomes you with a genuine smile.

Let's talk about the food. We've tried the traditional shrimps and garlic in every restaurant (about 7 so far), this one is the best, both the shrimps were firm (not mushy if they have been out for a while) and the seasoning was perfect, I didn't have to add any salt and also the garlic flavour really came out (this was on par with another place we've tried in Playa Blanca), I did recommend them to change the bread though, we were given 3 individual rolls, which was crispy outside, but not soft enough to soak up the nice olive oil from the garlic and shrimp sauce, but I wouldn't take any points off this as it was the best one so far.

I've had the mixed grill, perfectly cooked to my taste and a good portion as well (I'll regret this with my gout later 😅😅), wife had the grilled salmon and she love that also, son had the rib eye, again, medium to well done, perfectly cooked. He said this is better than any restaurants in UK that we have been (alright, we haven't been to that many!!). I have to say, we might come back again just before flying back to UK.

Finally, already mentioned about the staff, but will say again that they are genuinely friendly and love the atmosphere here.

I highly recommend this restaurant for your trip out to the beach. When you're enjoying your day out and get hungry, you want something to eat that is as delicious as the sun and sea are beautiful. La Terraza hits the mark, and your day will be brightened even more after a meal here. Personally, I enjoyed the Lanzarote burger so much I had to order it again on my second visit. I tried my partners other selections, which was a wonderfully richly flavoured stroganoff and perfectly cooked Sirloin. I also noticed that there is also some seafood options and vegetarian / vegan, so a great all rounder. The drinks are very reasonably priced, with a nice selection of cocktails.

Service here is excellent and very warm. We were served quickly and found the staff to be very friendly. I'm not an advocate for tipping culture, but I definitely felt justified leaving...

My first time dining here, like many have walked past and the smell of the grill is so strong and draws you in, so I just had to try it, so we started with the usual garlic bread and cheese and cannery potatoes which are beautiful, a certain must try. The followed by a sirloin steak cooked to rare to medium, perfectly cooked and just melted, followed by a mixed grill which was Spanish sausage pork and lamb chop, chicken fillet and to top it off a small steak, cooked to my medium preference, both dishes were cooked and presented to a very high standard, the waiter couldn't do enough for us, unfortunately, I saw others have desserts and looked fantastic but I just didn't have room.
