My partner and I came to try the cocktail tasting menu which they were charging at €45 per head. We sat down and were served RAW chicken - literally pink. When we challenged it to the waiter, he said “yes, medium cooked”.. confused and shocked was an under statement. When we asked the manager about this, she said “it was only one piece.” We then were served a series of small plates, which could only be described as frozen, awful quality products which were defrosted within a few minutes. There was a plastic and mass produced like quality for the food. Not only this, we were planning a welcome party for 140+ people, and the staff couldn’t have been less attentive, interested or apologetic. We were so shocked with the quality of the food and the service we left after 10 minutes. This location is very beautiful and they clearly do a lot of weddings, but our experience from the breakfast at the hotel, to the service and the meal tasting was beyond disappointing. If you’re looking at using this venue, make sure you do a meal tasting first - we hope your experience is better than ours and they take on our feedback to improve the quality of their restaurant...

This is an excellent place for tourists and for those who just want to be tucked away in a little cloistered setting. Although it is on a main street and there is a little traffic noise, you forget it all when you're sitting in the walled garden, enjoying the scenery and peacefulness.

The hotel was.actually the former residence.of a cardinal, thus the name. There is a feeling of history here and of old Spain.

Just around the corner are a series of escalators that take you up to the old city. And at the end of the day you come back to a place with quiet nooks everywhere, a fine restaurant, a great little bar and a feeling of stepping back in time.

We want to come back and spend at least four days here, reserving one day just to enjoy the...

A must-do when your in Toledo. In a beautiful environment!

🍽️ We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. They serve you a nice menu with starter, main course and dessert or you can eat à la carte. I had a nice carpaccio of tomatoes and burrata, tender cochinillo and a sweet dessert.

🍷I was surprised by their wine selection, which is more than democratic.

👧 kids are more than welcome and can choose from the à la carte menu or from the kids menu, with a main course (pasta, chicken, …) and a dessert.

📞 I recommend to reserve in advance. I made the mistake the first evening, by thinking we would be able to just show up, and they apologised 10 times for being full, but immediately proposed to book us a table for the...
