A wonderful surprise on a small open plaza of Nogalera: you need to wait because the chef makes everything himself but it is worth the wait. I loved his tiepido di polipo (lukewarm octopus slices) served on an oven-baked bed of truffle purée: a perfect mix of flavor and texture ! We also enjoyed his macherroncini Quattro formaggi, perfectly al dente with a great cheesy well balanced sauce that made us lick the plate, and his squid ink ravioli with ruccola, datterini tomatoes and grilled prawns and shrimps. This place is quite a nice Italian gem tucked away from the louder market area. It has a moderate-sized seating area, and I would highly recommend making a reservation. It is a small kitchen area with two people and one server. The server is very friendly and is hopping between all the tables. Just to point out how every meal is made to order, there is actually a note by the risotto saying it will take 40 minutes to make - amazing. All our meals were served hot and delicious. This is the place to go if you want to have authentic home-made pasta! We keep coming back everytime and the quality is always very consistent - last time we ordered Lasagna & Macaroni 4 Formaggi and both were absolutely delicious. If you reserve using The Fork, you would be getting Yums for the reservation and paying via the app which is a huge plus point for me. The waiting time is long (around 45 minutes) - however, this is understandable given the pasta is made...
