I had a delicious lunch in this family business. I was a welcome guest and that felt good, being by myself. It was not easy to choose between the homemade dishes ! Platos caseras in Spanish. After consulting I went for the meatballs with french fries ( albondigas con patatas fritas). To die for so fingerlickin’ good, I scooped up every drop of sauce.I even got the recipe and a big secret : prepare a day before so the aromas mix. The next day I had breakfast there, multiple choices. The patron is a very welcoming host, worrying when I needed to step out in the rain. The mama is the heart of the kitchen....

Great location, away from the crowds and the noisy main street. Here you can enjoy delicious Spanish dishes together with the locals. I especially recommend the burgers (my favorite is the Yeppers with amazing caramelized onions) and the pil pil prawns, which were absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back more than once – highly recommended. The whole staff and the chef were extremely friendly and welcoming...

Mi mujer y yo acabamos de pasar unas pequeñas vacaciones en Torremolinos. La suerte quiso que el primer día de nuestra estancia desayunáramos en la terraza de la Cafetería Restaurante Silvia. Quedamos tan impresionados por la amabilidad de Paco que ese mismo día ya comimos allí y, de paso, conocimos a su encantador hijo Álvaro. Al día siguiente, ya nos sentíamos como de la familia y entonces decidimos que todos nuestros desayunos y comidas se harían allí. Es increíblemente gratificante encontrarte con semejante atención humana y profesional. Y, por encima, la comida extraordinaria, abundante y a gusto del cliente. Nos resulta muy difícil indicar algo de esta casa y del personal que la atiende que destaque significativamente por encima del resto. Todo es excelente, pero, de todas formas, creemos que conviene mencionar un aspecto que, viendo lo que se ve en muchos establecimientos hosteleros, resulta impactante: la limpieza combinada con el orden y la curiosidad. Es espectacular ver como brillan los cristales, los muebles de acero inoxidables, los cuadros, los objetos que decoran, los baños, los azulejos… En fin, algo fuera de serie.
