Restaurante Olas de Levante — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Would recommend, though mainly for the pulpo a la plancha - grilled octopus. We went there for dinner on our first night in Torremolinos and the experience was overall very pleasant - the food was mainly a hit - the octopus was amazing, the grilled dorada as well. The fried octopus and the fried fish platter less so. We went again for lunch on our last day and once again, the grilled octopus was an instant hit and totally worth it, though the rest of the food was alright only - the tuna was slightly overcooked and the salad was a bit tasteless. Overall, I would go again, however would only really order a whole grilled fish or the octopus only. First of all. Staff are very friendly. Then the problems started. Bread for the table is served in plastic bags. Pil-pils are dirty prawns served without any bread. Ordered fried fish and they are apparently served without any potatoes or bread. I mean, it is a mediocre restaurant. I hope they would do better for their staff’s sake. This might just be the level you should expect in torremolinos but it is horrendous. If you like...
