Chiringuito Larry Torremolinos — Restaurant in Torremolinos

we went Larry's this evening for a family meal and were very disappointed with the food and service. Having been to the old Larry's, before the renovations, on many occasions we expected the same quality of food and service but this was not the case.We were a family of 6 adults where 5 starters turned up and one did not until the other 5 starters were finished, they also tried to give us one of the main courses before the family member had finished their starter. Our paella was all dried out from being under the grill to keep it warm. Having extensive renovations doesn't always make a restaurant better and it is very true in this case.The staff in the old Larry's were very welcoming and we didn't feel this was the case this evening. I very sad to say that we will not be returning...

We hired sunbeds in front of Larry's beach bar. The beds have lovely thick cushion on and we paid €7 for the day (to 8pm). Its close to the shore and its shallow for a while.

They have a lovely restaurant area and although we didn't eat, the food looked amazing so we will pop back in a few days time to try it.

We did have a drink, gin & 7up zero, served in a large gin glass with large ice cubes. It was brought to our sunlounger which had side table next to it. A perfect drink to enjoy as the sun was on its way down at the end of the day.

The staff were very pleasant and cheerful.

We also used the restroom - there was only one female & one male but there was no queue and the female cubical was clean and well maintained.

Went here today for some paella , I was fooled by the reviews thought it was top spot , turns out I was waiting 40 minutes for my paella and was dissapointed there was one or two hairs in it , the waitress insisted on serving me a whole new one , while I waited she brought out a fish cake. A Fish cake. And says “ on the house “ , fish cake sat there and the flies ate it cause who willingly eats fish cake , the next paella that came ( took another 20 minutes ) was quite tasteful I can’t lie ( the reason I give 2 stars instead of one ) , drinks took a while too , would only reccomend to someone who’s taste buds still haven’t...
