Today I had the best Indian food I have ever had in my 42 years of enjoying the exotic cuisine rich in spices, history and culture. I ordered the lunch special and you simply cannot get better options at a better price. The lamb samosa was divine; so crispy and bursting with flavor and filling. For your main meal there is a choice of protein and then 10 different sauces!! I researched them before, but the menu is wonderfully explanatory in both English and Spanish. I ordered the Lamb Bhuna with basmati rice, and because I still wanted naan, I ordered a side of the lamb stuffed naan and it is pure heaven. The food is served quick, fresh, steaming, wafting the most amazing aromas, with generous portions. The owner is a warm, attentive host, passionate about his culture and the food he cooks. He speaks beautifully clear English which was an added bonus since I speak some broken Spanish and not much else. He provided pompedam and house made sauces to be able to gauge my heat tolerance. I love spicy food and he warned me the one sauce was SPICY. It had a kick but one of so flavorful but no uncomfortable burn, (they were all delicious). I promised him it wasn’t hot to me and that my main dish could have equal to slightly more kick. He said ok and finally FINALLY I was served Indian that wasn’t “white girl hot,” while being asked if it was too spicy or too hot or if I was ok every 2 minutes in fear that I was going to need a fire extinguisher for my mouth. It was the most glorious and satisfactory experience to both my taste buds and to my ego. I only have a few days of my vacation left, but I am 110% eating there again at least once if not every day until I have to go home. I was so full I didn’t have room for the ice cream that came with my meal. My leftovers were wrapped up for me and I was thrilled to know they do take...
Read moreWe tried Joseph’s Curry Hut based on its many 5* reviews. They weren’t wrong!! It is a first class Indian Restaurant made extra special by being family run. Joseph does the cooking backed up by many years of experience and it shows in the quality and refinement of the food. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Joseph prepared an onion free masala for us, due to a food allergy, which was delicious. We had lovely light and crispy poppadoms and the tasty pickle tray to start followed by the chicken shashlik sizzler accompanied by both korai and masala sauces. The food was wonderful - delicately spiced and perfectly seasoned with lots of tender marinated chicken. The pilau rice was light and fluffy - perfect. We paid less than €22 per head including our bottled water. We highly recommend this special establishment. Nothing is rushed, the food is fantastic and Joseph is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for great Indian cuisine cooked with love and care by a great guy then Jospeh’s Curry Hut is for you. We will be back with the greatest of pleasure and look forward to discovering more delights from Joseph’s extensive menu. Felicidades Joseph -...
Read moreGave three stars for atmosphere as we were late going so only our group were in.
Well what can I say about this food except Wow wow wow. ❤️. Honestly the nicest curries I have ever tasted. 4 of us visited on Wednesday evening, myself and 3 friends and we had poppadoms and 3 curries between us. Every curry had its own individual taste and they were just the best I’ve had in many years.
I came with a group of girlfriends and I am home now but I want to come back to bring my husband just for him to see what I’m raving about.😂😂
The lady who served us and the chef were also very pleasant (I think husband and wife) and I made a point of telling them how gorgeous the food was as they deserved to know.
Do not walk past this place without going in - it will be your loss - as you will miss out big time.
Thanks for the lovely food we really...
