La Fragata de Tito — Restaurant in Torremolinos

After a lovely experience earlier in the week, we had a really bad experience here last night. While our waiter was still so pleasant and lovely, there were not enough staff on, and there was a large table of loud , obnoxious people beside us, who were demanding multiple waiters attention at all times .

My drink, which was supposed to be a double serving, absolutely was not, and our starter salad did not come until the main course which did not come for nearly an hour after we sat down .

Our burger was lovely with the exception of the fact that there was no cheese on it . children’s pizzas were fine too but our salad was absolutely horrific. For some reason it was supposed to be a goats cheese, walnut and honey salad had tomatoes, cucumbers and raw red onions with very little dressing and it tasted disgusting.

We waited constantly to have our drinks replaced, and the amount of cigarette smoke coming from the large table beside us, made for a very unpleasant experience.

This is a good restaurant with a really decent menu, but they need to give their staff the proper support and also to put the ingredients on their food that they describe...

Most overrated restaurant in Torremolinos. We have ordered black spaghetti and one pizza, nothing fancy. Toppings on pizza teast like the staff you get from Lidle. It's cheap and tasteless. Olives and ham had no taste at all. 4 toppings thrown in 4 corners of the pizza as you can see on photo. Are they expecting me to evenly distribute them when served? I don't know but try to eat slice of pizza with 6 anchuas and tell me if you know how to enjoyed it. I don't. Clueless when it comes to making quality pizza

Black spaghetti is a completely different story. I don't know why you would serve something like this to anyone. Imagine yourself making good spaghetti and then throwing some mud on top of it and mixing it until your spaghetti loose all colours, all taste. Then you put salmon and one tomato on top and call it a dish. Jeeeez, WHY? Not only does it taste terrible, but it makes your face dirty all around your mouth, so you look like a clown.

Out the waiter completely forgot about us and what we ordered, so we were sitting there 25 minutes waiting for nothing as no order has ever reached...

So, we have been in Torremolinos for a week. This restaurant, we thought was closed. Then we saw that there was some serious renovations happening on the inside. I am so.impressed that within a week, they had the renovations completed and open!

So, we had to try.. Wood fired pizza oven is always a draw for me. We had pizza Diablo, 4 Enchino and 4 cheese gnocchi. The pizza was awesome! Great crust, awesome toppings...very good. Gnocchi was really good as well!
